Glassware Breakage Recording Procedure

1.0         Purpose:           To provide an instruction for glassware breakage recording procedure.

2.0         Objective:        To provide a documented procedure for glassware breakage recording.

3.0                 Scope:        This procedure is applicable for glassware breakage recording in QC department at -----Pharmaceuticals Ltd, 

4.0         Responsibility:

·     Primary: QC Chemist / QC-Officer

·     Overall: QC-Officer

5.0       Procedure:

·     On breakage of any glassware, QC chemist will make entry into glassware breakage register.

·     Inform to QC chemist who is maintaining stock of glassware.

·     QC chemist will investigate on breakage of specific glass test equipment

·     The Chemist responsible for maintenance of stock will fill a purchase request of the glassware (if required) to keep-up the stock.

·     Maintain glassware breakage record in logbook.
