Operation Of Hardness Tester

PROCEDURE

                                                            

4.1              Loosen the screw at the top .

4.2              Hold the tablet between the jaw and nozzle in edgewise position.

4.3              Adjust the Scale (by sliding) , so that the zero on the scale coincides with the pointer.

4.4                            Turn the screw knob slowly till the tablet breaks. The pressure indicated on the scale is in      

                    Kilogram / sq. cm.

4.5               Clean the jaw with cloth  before reuse for  the next tablet.

4.5                            Never keep the spring under tension , when not in use.
